Emotions, Self-Regulation, Motivation, Intention and ADHD

A big thanks to Emily Shurr, Bay Area-based ADHD consultant for this extremely compelling video of Dr. Russell Barkley presenting groundbreaking scientific research on why ADHD is not actually an attention disorder, but much, much, more.

Also, not boring. Dr. Barkley is quite the animated (and humorous) speaker.

Very informative video on explaining ADHD in a way that is really explaining what is underneath the diagnosis, and not just the superficial symptoms – which inattention he believes is hardly descriptive of ADHD.

An amazing video to share with family, friends, significant others, health care providers, and mental health professionals.
